Are you
The Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) Programme offers you the ability to receive care in your home, in a facility, or a mix of these depending on your individual circumstances. The decision is based on your own needs and preferences.
There is a wide range of support services available from nutritional advice, personal care & assistance, to physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
The services are provided over an 8 week period to improve your well-being, help you stay independent, delay or avoid the need to enter long term care and improve your ability to undertake everyday tasks.
Each programme is developed in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
The Australian Government subsidises a range of aged care services and you are expected to contribute to the cost of your care if you can afford it. There is no income assessment for Short-Term Restorative Care and you will need to be assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Team through My Aged Care.
