Staff Reward and Recognition Scheme – July Winners

BallyCara is incredibly proud of our dedicated and passionate workforce, and it brings us great joy to be able to show our gratitude to them for their incredible accomplishments! The Staff Reward and Recognition Scheme was born in 2020 as an extension of BallyCara’s innovative Form of Hope (a form that allows staff and Consumers to show their gratitude to a staff member).

All the nominations are compiled by our Service Excellence Team, and four winners are picked by a panel of Consumers, family members and staff. Winners are picked every three months.

Below are the July winners and their nominating Forms of Hope.

Jennifer Madden – Customer Relations Team, Scarborough

“I would like to thank you for being so personable – a real asset to the CRTeam. So warm and responsive and welcoming to all who enter the Wellness Reception.

You made a difference because, this week you gave me a hug – which was needed and appreciated. Thank you for noticing and being generous and human!”

Megan Semaine – Customer Relations Team, Scarborough

“Megan – on behalf of the entire BWC I would like to thank you for your willingness to help maintain the office environment whenever you can. Nothing is ever too much for you from cleaning the fridge out, taking the bins out each week and any of the other random tasks people ask of you.

You are an asset to BallyCara and we would be lost without you. You never grumble even though these tasks are not your specific job.”

Kathryn Davis – Remedial Massage, Brisbane North

“Kathryn is such an asset to BallyCara and goes above and beyond every day with her kindness and warmth.

This has made a difference because… working on her day off to support a client, and just for being an amazing person with such a beautiful soul.”

Ivy Militano – Residential Care AIN, Scarborough

“I wanted to personally thank Ivy for her positive and professional attitude working alongside me and 3 other agency staff on Tuesday May 1st. She has touched the hearts of those around her because she stepped in to work alongside me better than some of the staff who have been with the organisation for years.

This has made a difference because she went above and beyond the call of duty considering the circumstances of rostering issues.”
